This policy explains what information TypeHands collects, why, and what you can do about it. TypeHands is made by an independent developer, who is responsible for this data ("we"). Contact: hello@typehands.com.
In short: the text you type with TypeHands never leaves your browser. To run the free trial and paid licenses, we keep a random install ID, your license and your order records. We don't use cookies, ads or analytics.
1. What we collect

2. Legal bases
We process this data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract), to meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation), and to keep TypeHands secure and prevent abuse of trials and licenses (legitimate interests).
3. Who else handles the data
- Dodo Payments, merchant of record for card payments. They process your payment and billing details under their own privacy policy.
- NOWPayments, crypto payment processor, under their own privacy policy.
- When you start a payment, we pass Dodo Payments or NOWPayments your install ID and order ID so the payment can be matched to your browser. We keep only the payment reference and status from their notifications, not your billing details.
- Supabase, which hosts our license server and database.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Google: if you use Chrome sync, Chrome may sync the install ID and license key between your devices as part of your Google account.
We don't sell your data and don't share it for advertising. Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union, with the safeguards they offer.
4. How long we keep it
Install IDs and license data are kept while you use TypeHands and deleted within 12 months after they stop being used, unless they are linked to an order. Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually up to 6 years. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
5. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Write to hello@typehands.com and include your license key or payment email so we can find your records. Deleting license data ends Pro access on that license. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
6. This website
typehands.com uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Its fonts are loaded from the jsDelivr content delivery network, which, like any web server, receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
7. Children
TypeHands is not intended for children under 13, or under 16 in the EU. We don't knowingly collect data from them.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on this website or in the extension.
