Terms of Service

Effective October 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of the TypeHands browser extension, the website at typehands.com and any paid plan ("Pro"). By installing TypeHands or paying for Pro you agree to them. "We" and "us" mean the independent developer who makes TypeHands. You can reach us at hello@typehands.com.

1. What TypeHands does

TypeHands is a Chrome extension that types text you provide into the text field you choose, one keystroke at a time, with adjustable speed, pauses and simulated typos that are corrected. The typing happens inside your browser.

2. Free trial

Every new installation gets a free trial of 3 days with all features. No payment details are needed. When the trial ends, typing is disabled until you buy a plan. One trial is available per installation; please don't reinstall or modify the extension to restart it.

3. Plans and prices

  • Monthly: US$3.99 per month. Paid by card, it renews automatically every month until you cancel. Paid in crypto, it gives 30 days of Pro and does not renew; you can extend it by paying again.
  • Yearly: US$39.99 per year. Paid by card, it renews automatically every year until you cancel. Paid in crypto, it gives 365 days of Pro and does not renew; you can extend it by paying again.

Every plan includes 3 devices. A device is one browser installation or browser profile where your license key is active. You can buy more devices, up to 10,000 per key. Extra devices are priced per device and per billing period, in steps: devices 4–25 cost US$0.40 a month (US$4.00 a year) each, devices 26–100 US$0.15 (US$1.50), devices 101–1,000 US$0.05 (US$0.50), and every device from 1,001 US$0.03 (US$0.30). Each price applies only to the devices inside its step.

You can change the number of devices at any time. More devices work right away: for a card subscription, the price difference for the rest of the current period is charged immediately; for crypto, you pay it as a separate invoice (at least US$1). Fewer devices also apply right away and lower your next payment, but the current period is not refunded. If more devices are signed in than your new number allows, the ones used least recently are signed out.

Prices are in US dollars. Taxes such as VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout depending on where you live. We may change prices for future purchases and renewals; if the price of an active subscription changes, you will be told before the next renewal and can cancel before it applies.

4. Payments

Card payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller for TypeHands orders. Dodo Payments handles the checkout, billing, taxes and invoices, and its own terms apply to the payment. Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments. We never receive or store your full card details.

5. License keys

After payment you receive a license key and an activation link. One key may be active on as many devices at the same time as your plan covers (3 unless you bought more). A device that hasn't been used for 30 days frees its slot automatically, and you can free slots yourself in the extension. The key is for you, or for your company and its team; please don't publish or resell it. We may deactivate keys that are shared publicly or used in a way that suggests abuse, after trying to contact the buyer.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel a card subscription at any time from the extension (Account, then Manage subscription) or by writing to us. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and no further charges are made. Crypto periods do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.

7. Refunds

Refunds are described in our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

8. Acceptable use

You are responsible for how and where you use TypeHands. You agree not to use it:

  • for anything illegal, or to send spam, scams or unsolicited messages;
  • on exams, tests, assessments or platforms whose rules forbid automated typing or input tools, or to break the terms of any website or service;
  • to misrepresent who wrote a text where honest authorship is required;
  • to get around the trial or license checks, or to copy, resell or redistribute TypeHands as your own product.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep TypeHands running and compatible with Chrome and popular websites, but websites and browsers change, and we can't promise that every site will work at all times. We may update, change or remove features. If we ever stop offering TypeHands entirely, we will give at least 60 days' notice and refund subscribers for any unused period they paid for.

10. No warranty

TypeHands is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law, we make no warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Always check the result before you send or submit text that TypeHands typed.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim related to TypeHands is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country that cannot be waived.

12. Ending access

You can stop using TypeHands at any time by removing the extension. We may suspend or end access for someone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms; where the breach is not abuse, we will refund the unused part of a paid period.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will announce it on this website or in the extension before it takes effect.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
